Paris AR – Collecting antiques has been a way of life for  Deborah Huber since a very young age.  As a child, she traveled with her “Meema” to antique shops, junk shops and many other places in search of whatever special item caught her grandmother’s discerning eye.  It’s no surprise then that Deborah’s cottage is full of  antiques…….furniture, pottery, glass and many other collections.   Since one’s home can only hold a limited number of treasures Deborah decided to open her own antique and gift shop, Cozy Cottage Gifts and Décor in 2005.    Some of the treasures in her shop once graced Deborah’s home.   She has moved these pieces on as her style changed or she found something else that she just had to have.  One of the advantages of this business is the opportunity to recycle, redecorate and share beautiful items.

“My passion is treasure hunting – searching for items I know my customers will want to take home and enjoy.  I love to shop estate sales, second-hand stores, antique shops and fleamarkets in search of items to fill Cozy Cottage.   Our goal at Cozy Cottage Gifts and Décor is to create a positive shopping experience by providing quality products and excellent customer service.”

In May of 2007 Deborah decided to expand Cozy Cottage Gifts and Décor to include an e-boutique by the same name.  Although many of the items on her website can also be seen in her cottage shop, Deborah has also added a line of handcrafted home organization products which are unique to her online sales.  Items in the Cozy Cottage Home Organization line include such niceties as the Cozy Cottage Recipe Keeper and Cozy Cottage Magazine Storage Files, all styled with beautiful paper products and lovely adornments.

Deborah is a member of the popular online shopping malls Make Mine Pink and Victorian Heart Shoppe, and has advertised in national magazines such as Romantic Homes.  She currently sells to customers throughout the USA and has developed a following of regular customers.
